More about the artwork
Do it for the plot… is a visual manifesto for women who are ready to take ownership of their own story. The piece is rooted in the belief that life is not meant to be watched from the sidelines, but lived with intensity, curiosity, and courage. The typewriter becomes a symbol of authorship: we are not secondary characters or passive observers, but the writers of our own narrative, even when we don’t know how it will end.
The phrase crowning the composition encapsulates an attitude toward life — daring to act without waiting for the perfect plan. Doing it for the experience, for the growth, for the story that unfolds along the way. Every bold decision, every unexpected turn, and every risk taken with intention becomes part of a narrative that values authenticity over approval.
This work emerges from all those moments when fear has held us back, when doubt has outweighed desire, or when we have postponed what we want while waiting for a sign that never comes. The truth is, the sign is us. Do it for the plot… is a reminder that fear should not be the author of our story, but the obstacle we learn to challenge.
The typewriter also speaks to time and permanence. There is no definitive erase key — every word leaves a trace. Much like life itself, not everything can be edited or corrected, but everything can be reinterpreted. Each line written becomes proof that we showed up, that we chose to participate fully in our own story.
The vibrant colors and bold visual language reinforce this sense of momentum and determination. This is not about romanticizing chaos, but about embracing uncertainty as fertile ground. Stories are not built only from certainty, but from moments of bravery where we move forward without guarantees.
With this piece, I invite every woman to stop waiting, to step into the adventure without fear of mistakes or apologies. Because in the end, what gives a story meaning is not that everything went according to plan, but that you dared to live it.
Do it for the plot… is a reminder that the best stories are not the safest ones, but the ones that make us feel truly alive.
Life isn’t about having everything figured out; it’s about daring to write your own story as you go. Sometimes you don’t do it because it’s safe — you do it because it makes the story worth telling.”
